As a graduate student in Dr. Thiele’s lab, the majority of my research has focused on investigating the contribution of various hypothalamic neuropeptides (melanocortin, orexin, neurotensin, etc.) to binge drinking behavior.  To this end, I have recently begun utilizing DREADD (Designer Receptors Exclusively Activated by Designer Drugs) technology in an effort to further characterize the neurocircuitry of these peptide systems.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing hockey, spending time with my dog, Arya, and chillin out maxin relaxin all cool.
