My current focus in the Thiele lab is investigating the role of Neuropeptide Y (NPY) in binge-like ethanol consumption. Specifically, I am assesing NPY in the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) and basolateral amygdala (BLA) in mice using a variety of behavioral, pharmacological, and immunohistochemical techniques.
